The meaning from Wikipedia : "A music video or song video is a short film integrating a song and imagery, produced for promotional or artistic purposes".
My interpretaton of a music video advertise the artist, publicing the artist by showing them several times as the main character in the scenario or either the narrator of the song. The way the music video s editied helps promote, artists, cars and brand names or a film, if its been sung for it.
