Review of previous student video

The music video that i will be analysing is by students last year who did a music video to calvin harris- feel so close. These students are from city and islington college and they are  Ada, Evie, Klaudia, Robert

I really enjoyed there remake to Calvin's ones. They used alot of edits, effects and jump cuts which were really good as it made the video more interesting to watch and it was entertaining. They also made the video quirky and fun by using a lot of colours and and dancing and lots of different people in the video doing interesting actions which kept the viewer tuned in wanting to watch more of the music video. The video had a lot of disjuncture which i liked because it was more fun and you weren't expecting what to happen next it was just sudden. I like there music choice which was electropop and house. They incorporated that well in there video as to how they styled it and planned by that i mean where they set each setting for the video and how they used stars and paints and bright lights. There lip synching was very good too.

Over all, i really enjoyed there music video it was entertaining to watch and made me want to jump in and dance with them.
