Vernallis theory

Vernallis theory was that editing and camera work were used frequently in music videos compared to other filming elements such as commercials or films. The edits are used in line with the beat so the actual music video stays entertaining to watch.

Taylor swift- we are never getting back together.

-alot of editing and jump cuts
-  special effects
- camera moves around alot- panning, tiliting
- structure- base track is regulary used.
- camera moves fast and slow
- mise en scene used to emphasize main bits in video
