Amplification, illustration and disjuncture

Amplification - this is when a new meaning is introduced to the lyrics but they do not contradict to what they mean. It add layers. An example of this is MGMT - Kids.

Illustration - is when the video actually conveys the lyrics. It shows what the lyrics are saying. This is shown by Professor Greens - I Need You Tonight

Disjuncture - When there is little connection between lyrics and the video. It doesn't really makes sense sometimes. This is shown by Paramore's CrushCrushCrush.
