This is an example to prove my point; there are two artists that have collabrated together to get their two fanbases to get more recognitions and popularity to their music. This then creates a wider fanbase for both the fanbases. This music video has different connotations and different symbols that has nothing to do with the song; although we might not know that as this is the artists visualisation. Thus this music video uses Andrew Goodwin's theory of Disjuncture.

Function of a music video
Personally, I think the function of a music video is that it creates a wider and deeper meaning to the sng itself. Also it gives a visual representation of the song. I think the music video is quite beneficial to the artist because it gives them more recognition.
