The Functions of a Music Video

There are a few reason on why a music video is made; the main idea for why a music video is produced is for either promotinal or artistic purposes. The use of having a music video is to show the audience an imagery to correspond with the actual audio it self. When a music video is made it also creates awareness to the audience a great examaple of that is when record labels look to sign an artist they look through artist music videos to try get a clear picture on what the artist is trying to put across. The main reasons for it is to either promote their music or to portray a message through their music.
