My first task in our first media lesson was to familiarise ourselves with the software we will be using for next three months; Final Cut Pro. Our task was to make a music video, with given shots from a previous students work.
At first it was very daunting; We had a range of 8-12 shots, which we could use - Some were, what I like to call, red herrings, where it was just a random shot. From the tutorial Micky showed us in class, we were told to put all the base tracks together, and mark when we heard the the first lyrics, on all the tracks. This showed us when to put all the rest of the tracks. We then had to cut in and out of the shots, to create our final piece.
